Know Less, Become MORE

Ever felt like you didn't know yourself? The older you get and the more you pursue Jesus, this can happen. Closeness to Jesus can make you react in different ways than you have in the past. You discover new talents and giftings in your life and wonder, “how did I not notice that before?”

This discovery takes place as you decrease and allow the Holy Spirit to increase. He will open your eyes, mind, heart, and soul to the person you were called to be. Our creator knows how everything inside of us is meant to work, He made it that way. Letting Him make the moves opens us up to become the person He designed.

It's like knowing how to use a product vs. being the one who designed it. Only the creator knows the fullest potential. Someone who frequently uses a product might now tips, tricks, and shortcuts, but they can not know EVERYTHING. When you speak to a creator you find out what something does and why it does that thing. Not only that, but the reason it was designed that way in the first place.

You are the person using the product (your life) and God is the creator. You know how it works pretty well, you’ve figured out short cuts, tricks of the trade, and best general function as it relates to what you personally understand. But, when you tap into the mind, heart, and intention of the one who created you…all bets are off. To have access to this knowledge, we must stop thinking we know who we are and ask God.

New passions and talents emerge when we invite the creator to teach us about who He created. The things He shows you will surprise and delight your life. What do you have to lose other than your control? Let it go and watch yourself be transformed, surprised, delighted, and unveiled daily in the vision of the One who created you. Become all you were made to become.
